Canals i Munné is a classic producer located in Sant Sadurní d´Anoia and founded in 1915. We were one of the first wineries to produce cavas following strictly the guide lines of the Champanoise method.
All our cavas are aged over 20 months, so they are classified as Reserva and Gran Reserva. Our production is numbered, limited and marked with vintage and disgorgement date.
A great part of our production process is still artisanal and has been passed down to the fifth generation together with the latest technology and an absolute respect for the environment.
Canals i Munné products have been awarded and recognised by the most prestigious press media. It is worthy to mention the Great Gold Medal at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles´13 to Dionysus Brut Nature Eco 2011, the top award in its category.
In Canals i Munné, we make efforts to promote the local culture, traditions and gastronomy of the Penedés region. In fact, we run a restaurant in the old “cavas” located at the heart of Sant Sadurní. Every weekend we dedicate our menu to seasonal fresh products bought to local producers.
